Installed and configured the application, connected it to a MySQL database, and completed initial system setup.

Step-by-Step Implementation:

  • Installed and configured XAMPP (Apache, MySQL, PHP) to create a local web server environment 


  • Downloaded and extracted osTicket files into the XAMPP htdocs directory


  • Configured IIS/Apache services and verified localhost connectivity


  • Created a MySQL database using phpMyAdmin for osTicket


  • Renamed and configured the osTicket configuration file (ost-config.php)


  • Completed web-based installation and connected osTicket to the MySQL database


  • Set up admin account and initial system configuration settings


  • Verified successful deployment by accessing the osTicket dashboard


Ticketing Workflow Demonstration:
